Classic Cotton Jersey
This is a premium quality fabric made with combed cotton, and treated with dyes that persist after multiple washes.
Our goal for the Classic range is to achieve a durable garment for your wardrobe.
Depending on the garment we use more or less grammage per square meter and we also select the thickness of the yarn so that, combining these two factors, we arrive at the style we are looking for.
The organic cotton fabric we use to make our garments comes from Portugal and it’s GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) Certified.
The aim of the standard is to define world-wide recognized requirements that ensure organic status of textiles, from harvesting of the raw materials, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing up to labelling in order to provide a credible assurance to the end consumer.
Textile processors and manufacturers are enabled to export their organic fabrics and garments with one certification accepted in all major markets.
Brushed Heavy Fleece
Across all our classic range we aim for the the best durability-finish ratio, a combination between construction and the combed cotton yarn thickness make it possible.
We want your sweatshirt to stay in the wardrobe for a long time, for these fleece we work in a range of 340/380 grams per square meter, brushed inside, which provides softness and comfort.
This garment is made from SEAQUAL™ fiber, produced in Spain with Upcycled Marine Plastic recovered from the Atlantic and Mediterranean in Europe, the Atlantic in Africa and the seas around Indonesia.
SEAQUAL™ FIBER is currently mechanically recycled, and it is recyclable as well.
SEAQUAL™ develops and supports initiatives which clean litter from the ocean (floor and surface), litter entering our oceans from rivers and estuaries and litter that has been deposited on our shores from the ocean.
Fancy Fleece is a very particular fabric that we make in different combinations of cotton and polyester.
What is very special about fancy fleece is it’s construction, a diagonal knit that provides a special light and loose fit, perfect for our lightweight sweaters.
The weight of this fleece varies between 220 and 230 grams/sqm, that sets it the medium warmth range.
Our “Fancy Fleece” garments are knit, dyed, cut, sewn and printed/embroidered in Portugal.
During this special dyieing process pigments stick on the fabric with the help of binders.
In this technique the chemicals are less toxic and least polluting and the color fades with the repeated use, like denim, that provides a fantastic vintage look.
Yarn Dyed Stripes
For the elaboration of this fabric we use up to thirty cones of threads with the different chosen colors connected to a machine called "riscador", the steup of this machine is a meticulous delicate process.
Most of our beanies feature acrylic Yarn, and you may wonder…why not use wool?
Material for acrylic hats is man-made, consisting of synthetic fibers. In our case, the yarn comes from Spain and the hats are made in Portugal.
Acrylic head wear keeps its shape, holds its color, and is resistant to stains and wrinkles, it is lightweight and considered a viable option for people with allergic reactions to wool or sensitive skin.
More than a beanie.
Light Cotton Jersey
This is lightest cotton jersey that we use for t-shirts, with a 30/1 ring, combed cotton yarn, we get this fabric that, despite the lightness feeling, it is still resistant. Ideal for feminine garments.
Once you have one of these jackets in your hands you will understand why we choose this material for them, it may look like the rest but it’s brightness and soft touch provide comfort that improves the stubbornness of most coaches jackets in the market.
The union of Nylon as a natural windbreaker and tear resistance thanks to the construction of Tafetta fabric, provide versatility and style.
Twill refers to the type of weaving pattern used when constructing the fabric.
In this case, that weaving pattern is a series of diagonal, parallel ribs.
These ribs give the fabric a very durable and attractive quality.
Thanks to the weaving pattern, twill shows much less dirt and stains than other fabrics with the same use.
It is also resistant, and recoverrs easily from wrinkles and creases as well.
Before the 1960s Tie-Dye was known by the Japanese term "Shibori".
Back in those years young Americans rebelled against the conservative dress rules that had influenced their parents' generation, and began to appreciate a movement that valued arts and crafts, simplicity, and traditional ways of doing things.
Tie-Dye was a natural consequence of these values, which combines personal creativity and brilliant designs.
